WHAT THEY ARE MADE OF
Gold rings are finished in 18K gold vermeil at 3 microns — six times thicker than standard plating, or in titanium with 18K gold PVD. The solid 14K gold pieces are made without plating at all. Why 3 microns matters.
Stones are 100% natural, and some designs carry Swarovski crystals. A ring meets more friction than a necklace or an earring, which is why the thickness of the finish matters here more than anywhere else.
THE STYLES
Adjustable rings are open at the back and fit most fingers — the easiest ring to buy and the safest to give. Minimalist rings are fine bands made to be stacked, and birthstone rings carry the stone of a birth month.
Signet and emblem rings carry a symbol — the lion for strength, the fleur-de-lis for heritage — and matching ring sets are made for two.
FOR WOMEN AND FOR MEN
Browse rings for women or rings for men. Women's designs lean toward gemstones and open sculptural forms; men's toward signets and bands in titanium and black rhodium.
FINDING YOUR SIZE
Our rings run from US 5 to 13. The simplest way to size is to measure the inside diameter of a ring that already fits the same finger and compare it with the chart. If you use string, measure at the end of the day — fingers are slightly larger in the evening and in warm weather.
If you fall between two sizes, take the larger, and remember that a wide band fits tighter than a fine one. Full size guide, with US, EU, UK and Japanese conversions.
HOW TO STACK THEM
Stack by contrast: one ring with a stone beside one plain band, rather than several of the same. Keep one metal tone on each hand, and leave at least one finger bare so the others can be seen.
HOW TO CARE FOR THEM
Take rings off before washing with strong soap, before the gym and before swimming. Wipe them with a soft dry cloth and store them apart, so that a stone cannot scratch the finish of another ring.
