Every other collection in the house begins with a base metal and a layer of gold. This one does not. These pieces are solid 14K gold throughout — not plated and not vermeil — which makes this the smallest collection we make and the most permanent.
WHAT 14K MEANS
14K gold is 58.5% pure gold, alloyed with other metals for strength. That alloy is what makes 14K harder than 18K or 24K and better suited to a ring or bracelet worn every day: it holds its shape and resists scratches while keeping the warm colour of gold.
Because there is no layer to wear through, the colour does not change with time. A light polish returns solid gold to its original finish, even after years.

Solid gold asks for little: wipe it with a soft cloth, keep it away from chlorine, and store it apart from other pieces so that stones cannot scratch it. From time to time, a professional polish restores its original shine.
